Department Overview
The Assessing Department staff is responsible for approximately
8400
residential, commercial and agricultural real property parcels and 200
personal property accounts. We maintain records of current ownership, assessed and taxable values, lot
sizes, housing characteristics and market sales data. This information is available to the public through our office.
The Assessing Department, in conjunction with the Building/Zoning
Department, is responsible for the Land Division Act and other types of
splits.
